The SafeTracks Private Rental Program supports GPS electronic monitoring when ankle bracelet monitoring is being proposed, requested or ordered as part of a bail, release, supervision or other court-approved arrangement.
Getting started is straightforward. The process begins with the Online Private Rental Intake Form, which can be submitted without payment. The form collects the information SafeTracks requires to review the proposed participant, residence, monitoring circumstances and installation requirements.
Approval is not automatic. SafeTracks reviews each application to determine whether a reliable private GPS monitoring arrangement can be established. This includes reviewing the proposed residence, confirming cellular coverage and assessing the monitoring and installation requirements.
When an application is approved by SafeTracks, the applicant receives the completed intake package, cellular coverage confirmation and Private Rental Program documentation needed to continue with the proposed release process.
If the release and monitoring arrangement are approved by the court, SafeTracks coordinates device installation and activation. Monitoring is then configured according to the court order or approved release conditions.
SafeTracks approval into the Private Rental Program does not guarantee that a judge, court or release authority will approve the participant’s release. All release decisions remain with the appropriate court or release authority.
SafeTracks first reviews the application and confirms whether the proposed residence and monitoring arrangement can be supported. If the application is approved, SafeTracks issues an invoice for the $250.00 engagement fee.
Once the engagement fee is paid, the applicant receives the completed intake package, cellular coverage confirmation and Private Rental Program documentation needed to continue with the proposed release process.
Remaining program fees apply only if the release and monitoring arrangement proceed.
